Another great spot. Definitely a retirement vibe here and we were there before busy season. But the hotel was great, food was great. Having laundry services were an added bonus. We got to catch up on laundry. Pool area is beautiful. All around great stay.

Everything was good, but I will remove one star for the food and the pool. It’s too crowded, there is no space between sunbeds. I didn’t like it at all.
About the food , there is a lot of variety but not everything was tasty.

Our stay at Gran Hotel Peñíscola was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the hotel’s warm hospitality, spacious layout, and its unbeatable location right on the beachfront.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, many offering stunning sea views — waking up to the sound of the waves was a highlight. The hotel’s facilities are excellent: a large outdoor pool, relaxing spa area, and a well-organized buffet restaurant with a wide variety of fresh, delicious food to suit every taste, including vegetarian and kid-friendly options.
What really stood out was the friendly and helpful staff who went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome throughout our stay. The entertainment program and activities for families made it especially enjoyable for those traveling with children.
Just a short walk or bike ride from the historic Peñíscola Castle, the location is ideal for exploring while still enjoying peaceful beachfront relaxation.

Just returned from an amazing stay at Gran Hotel Peñiscola! 🌟 The service was top-notch from the moment I arrived, with a friendly check-in that set the tone for my trip. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, and I felt really comfortable throughout my stay. Plus, the restaurant service was fantastic—delicious food and attentive staff! The hotel is very near the beach, walking no more than 3-5 minutes, the hotel has a lot amenities and on my trip enjoyed the swiming pool with my kid. I was not on the Saturday night party seems that the enviorment was great inside the hotel. Next time I will try it again.

I recently stayed at Gran Hotel Peñiscola**** in Peñíscola and it was amazing! 🌅 The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The food at the restaurant was delicious and there were so many options to choose from. 🍴 Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Peñíscola. 👍

Gran Hotel Peñiscola l is located on Peñíscola's popular beachfront, on the seafront promenade. It offers an extensive spa, an outdoor pool and free WiFi.


Rooms large and well maintained. Staff helpful. Nice pool and access directly onto promenade.
Downsides were food was often cold, plates not warmed, and extras (bars, parking) expensive.

Very good 😀 - Lovely room with two big double beds. Straight out of hotel onto promenade. 😞 - Food could be warmer. Plenty of on-site parking but expensive and not much street parking in the surrounding area (most of that is parking metered at peak times of the year).

Atrong odour room 637 😀 - Location and choice of food. Quiet room on top floor as per our request was a plus 😞 - There was a problem with odour in our room. The cleaning service did a proper clean daily but the smell ( of feces) was very strong. Probalby coming from a pipe. The smell was only in the bedroom, the bathroom and sitting room had no smell. We notifies the staff and they provided us with some odour neutralisors as well as making sure all is very clean but nothing helped. We were offered a different room but our room was quiet and big so we just kept the windows open all the time.

Very good from almost every aspect! Located directly on the beach promenade. Front desk staff were very helpful, especially Nicole! However, you might miss something in the translation, like the animation show and perhaps other activities.
Great pool, largest in Peniscola! Strange but you'll need to bring your room towels to the pool or you'll be charged for towels that are available at the spa. The all-inclusive room with Full-Board is a great value, more than reasonable, especially during low season (Oct/Nov). Also, the quality of food and variety is far superior to other higher end hotels in Lloret. There's also an indoor pool and spa at an extra charge of 10 Euros per day. Not bad but you only get one hour per person per day!

great hotel for a beach holiday 😀 - excellent location with direct access to the beach 😞 - We were given a room on the first floor with a balcony and windows facing the courtyard of another hotel. From the balcony you can see the edge of the sea. In the evening, during a musical program in a restaurant, the audibility was as if I was sitting right on the stage, the music ended at 12 at night, then they continued to move something for a long time. Not the best room for a romantic couple or for a couple with children. Apparently, in rooms with a sea view and on higher floors the accommodation is more comfortable, but when I asked for a higher room and (or) with a sea view, they said that there were no rooms available.

Good value for money 😀 - The room was confortable, excellent views , the swimming cool and nice. The staff was very friendly. It was clean. Very good location. 😞 - The spa was old. The food was just OK. Some parts of the hotel were very old.

This was our second stay in Peñiscola. This hotel didn't match the quality of our previous hotel. 😀 - Relaxing stay in a hotel catering for older Spanish visitors. 😞 - Queuing to check-in is not acceptable. Guests are tired, and their comfort needs to be considered. Having to pay for all drinks in the restaurant, even water. Vegans/vegetarians are not sufficiently catered for.
